The Cinema section aims to offer an exhaustive framework of the new trends in European cinemas, especially in the feature film and short film sector, as well as an open space to check out the new creativity that circulates on the web in the mini-films, which bear witness to a widespread production that is often difficult to catalogue.

The cinema segment is the only one to have been developed as an international competition.

The winning films of the individual sections will receive the 2010 Linea d’Ombra - Festival Culture Giovani Prize.

In addition to the international competition, the cinema section of the Festival will also involve a series of non-competitive initiatives.
