CortoEuropa
CortoEuropa presents about 25 fictional short films, made by young European directors in 2009 and 2010 and presented in the original language with Italian subtitles.
The works must be presented in the original shooting format.
Works will be selected taking into account the originality of the project and the product’s overall quality, which is an essential benchmark given the number of truly outstanding works produced.
Established over the years, this section of the Festival has noted the great vitality of the sector, which, despite not having seen significant outlets in the market, has certainly pointed out young European and Italian directors who have moved onto feature films, some of which with great success.
The Festival invites all the directors of the competing films, guaranteeing accommodation for three days when each film is shown to the public.
