Starting again. That’s the first remark that I would like to make after a particularly difficult year, 2011, for Linea d’Ombra-Festival Culture Giovani. If we hadn’t had the assistance and the support of the city council, by this time we wouldn’t exist anymore. A lot of other events risk, some of them prestigious and important as ours or even more. We are back, because we created an important, nifty group of people, that longs to question themselves and risk to invent original and fresh events. We are back because we still feel like to amaze ourselves and others, to explore the shapes of creativity that travel beneath the outline, not always rewarded as they deserve. We feel like to abstain clichés, that are congested, but most of the time senseless. Starting again! In this new start, I wish to be together with a lot of you, young people and less young people, with whom is waiting to imagine its future, with whom has already some behind himself, with whom looks towards the present anxiously, but most of all with whom perceives that the party of culture (the festivals) are an occasion to grow and an occasion to comparison. These are the things that build a modern city.
