Jury and Prizes

The competing films are judged by a jury consisting of 300 young people between the ages of 18 and 35 years. Approximately one-third of the jury members are guests at the event and must come from leading Italian film schools.

200 jury members are selected on request from among university students, members of cultural association, and film, art and theatre lovers in the Campania region.

The jury members watch the competing films and allocate the prizes for the: “Best Feature Film” in the Passaggi d’Europa section; and the “Best Short Film” and “Best Italian Short Film” in the CortoEuropa section. Each winner is awarded with the 2009 Linea d’Ombra-Festival Culture Giovani Prize.

How to register for the young jury

Young people between the ages of 18 and 35 years can register for the jury.
